COVID 19 Vaccinations and Testing in Our Area

COVID-19 VACCINATIONS AND TESTING IN OUR AREA

COVID vaccines and testing are no longer being offered at our parish.  Recently we have been receiving phone calls from people who think we currently have clinics at our parish.  The calls are so frequent that we think that even though we have updated our website that there must be other websites out there that have not been updated.  So, for the benefit of you, your family and friends we list the closest clinics here.

Vaccine Clinics

Our COVID vaccine clinic was operated by the Alameda County Public Health Department.  The site that used to be at OLR on Sundays has moved to Newark.   It is located at Coyote Hills Elementary School, located at 36271 Cherry Street.  The clinic is open on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Click here for a flyer.  Vaccines are also offered at Bay Area Community Health's Irvington Clinic at 40910 Fremont Blvd. on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and at Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center.

Nearby retail pharmacies are also offering the COVID vaccine and boosters.  Stores in Union City include Lucky, Walmart and Rite Aid, and those right next to Union City include the CVS inside of Target and the Rite Aid in Fairway Park.

Free COVID-19 Testing

In Union City, Bay Area Community Health (BACH) offers testing in a parking lot at 34800 11th Street, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m.to 3:30 p.m.  Drive ups are welcome or you can make an appointment by clicking here or calling (510) 770-8040.  BACH also has a couple of other sites in Fremont.
