Faith Formation Registration

Thank you for registering in our Faith Formation Program.

This page will guide you through the online registration of your children and young adults in our Faith Formation Program.

Registration in our programs is now open and will close on August 16.

The registration form appears below.  Before we start, however, here's a little bit of information to digest.

Classes that we offer

We offer classes for children of all ages (up to age 18).  To receive any of the Sacraments of Initiation (First Communion or Confirmation) children must first attend two years of classes.

First Communion Classes

  • For children in grades 1 through 6
  • Classes are available in English and Spanish
  • Children attend classes on a weekly basis
  • Class schedule:
    • Classes in English are held on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., or on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
    • Classes in Spanish are held on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m., or on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Confirmation Classes

  • For children in grades 7 through 12
  • Classes are bilingual
  • Students attend class two times a month
  • Class schedule for first-year students:
    • Students in grades 7 or 8:  Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.
    • Students in grades 9 through 12:  Sundays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Class schedule for second-year students:
    • Students in all grades:  Mondays, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are determined by family.

Tuition is the financial contribution for a student being enrolled in and participating in the Faith Formation Program.  A family that is enrolling more students pays less tuition per student than one which has fewer students.

Fees are associated with the added cost of sacramental programs.  Fees are charged for each student who is preparing for the second year to receive his or her First Communion.

A Retreat Fee covers the cost of the Confirmation Retreat.  It is paid during the second year a student is preparing for Confirmation.  The fee is not known with certainty until the retreat is in its planning stages during the late fall or early spring.  It is most likely from $160.00 to $200.00 per participant.

Tuition and fees for the 2023-2024 school year are as follows:

Tuition for one (1) student $100.00
Tuition for two (2) students 150.00
Tuition for three (3) or more students 180.00
Fee for students in the second year of      preparation for First Communion (per student) 30.00

As shown above, the most a family will have to pay in Tuition is $180.00, regardless of number of students enrolled.

Service Hour and Fundraising Commitment

Upon registering your family in our Faith Formation Program we ask you to commit to supporting the program and our parish.  When you sign the registration form, you agree to:

• To sell or purchase a minimum of $100.00 worth of raffle tickets for the parish festival to be held in October.
• To perform 20 hours of volunteer service at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish.

A Note about Flocknote

Flocknote is an app that we use to send group texts or e-mails to our families with important and current information regarding classes and events.  As some of the information we send you might require immediate action, be sure that the cell phone and e-mail information you provide on the registration form is accurate so that you do not miss any updates.  Please be sure to notify us in the future should your cell phone number or e-mail address change.  You are also able to indicate which language you would prefer for these notifications.
