WeShare EFT Instructions for Recurring Donations


Thank you for your interest in donating to your parish electronically through WeShare!

To guide you through the process, we provide you with a listing of the steps below.


  1. When you are ready, or after you read these steps, click the link "Start sign-up" below.
  2. Pick your recurrence pattern -- here you will provide three pieces of information
    • Enter the amount you want to give each time a donation is made
    • Select the recurrence pattern -- choices are
      • Weekly
      • Monthly
      • Semimonthly (twice a month, on the 1st and 15th day of the month)
      • Quarterly (four times a year, on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31) 
      • Semiannually (twice a year, on January 1 and July 1)
      • Annually (once a year)
    • Select the day you want the deduction(s) to be made
      • For weekly recurrence, choose the day of the week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc.)
      • For monthly recurrence, choose the day of the month (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.)
      • For annual recurrence, chose the month and day of the year. 
  3. Pick your recurrence duration
    • In the "Recurrence Start" section, make no changes if you want the deduction to start now.  Otherwise, select a date for your first donation to be deducted.  
    • In the "Recurrence End" section, make no changes if you want your donation to continue indefinitely until you take action in the future to stop it or change the amount.  Otherwise, select a date for your last donation to be deducted.    
  4. Choose your payment type
    • Checking or savings account
    • Debit (ATM) card
    • Credit card
  5. Enter your payment details
    • Account number and other pertinent information
  6. Enter your contact information
    • By filling out this section, a WeShare account will be set up for you.  This provides the following benefits:
      • You will be given a password.  Using your e-mail address and password, you will be able to log into your account and make changes to your donation amount and frequency on your own, without needing our help (although we are glad to help you if you want)
      • It will provide us with basic information to identify you.  This will help us link your WeShare account with our parish database so that we can produce an annual statement for you.  If you currently have an offering envelope account, we don't need your account number -- we will merge your WeShare donations to your account for you and provide one combined statement at the end of the year.
      • You will receive automatic receipts for your donations by e-mail
      • You will be able to log-in with your password and set up recurring donations for the second collections that occur on an annual basis
      • We can sell tickets to special events like our summer concert using WeShare, and you can use your WeShare account to pay online. 
  7. Confirm your donation
    • Right after you confirm your donation, check your e-mail for your temporary password.  Log into the WeShare system using your temporary password within 24 hours and select a new one of your choosing.  
    • If you do not find an e-mail with your password in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder -- it sometimes ends up there.  If all else fails, call us at the Parish Office and we can help you recover it.
